It all started with a broken microphone.

Singer/Songwriter Vickie Lynn's earliest memories of growing up in Effingham, Illinois are the sounds of Gospel Music being sung by her mother and aunts. She literally grew up in the world of Southern Gospel, attending all "all night" Gospel sings with her parents. As a young child, Vickie was introduced to the sounds of The Happy Goodman's, Jd. and the Stamps, The Blackwood Brothers and of course, The Speer Family.

It was at one of those events that singer Ben Speers gave young Vickie a broken microphone as a toy. Little did he know at the time that this little gift would inspire a future Gospel artist. Vickie sang into that broken mic for years as a child, imitating the Gospel "greats" as well as Loretta Lynn, Tammy Wynette and Tanya Tucker.

Saved at 26, Vickie returned to her Gospel roots and became a backup singer in her local church's Praise and Worship Team. God soon called her into her own music ministry in 1997, and she has followed that call ever since. After years of vocal training, Vickie is now singing to God's glory all around the country, predominantly in the Midwest.

With three CD's under her belt, JOY IN THE NAME, IT'S A MATTER OF FAITH, and now FULL CIRCLE, Vickie Lynn Ministries is an up and coming, back to basics, Southern Gospel blessing for all congregations.

Vickie's ministry operates on a love-offering basis. She is available for any church events, including worship services, revivals, banquets, ladies' meetings, and concert line-ups.

I believe God has called me to minister the Gospel through song to as many people as possible. My heart goes out to lift up and encourage the Body of Christ and to be a testimony and witness to the lost who do not know Jesus.
